Podifai supports manual translation of all customer-facing text. Automatic translation and third-party translation app integration are on our roadmap.
What You Can Translate
All text that customers see on your product page is editable:

Manual Translation
If you serve a single non-English market, simply write your option labels and descriptions in your target language:
- Open your customizer in the Podifai editor
- Edit each option’s label, description, and value names in your language
- Save and verify on your product page
Example:

Multi-Language Stores
If your store serves multiple languages, here are your current options:
Option 1: Duplicate Products
Create separate products for each language, each with its own customizer configured in that language. Use Shopify Markets or your translation app to route customers to the correct product.
Option 2: Translation App Integration (Limited)
Some Shopify translation apps (Langify, Weglot, Shopify Translate & Adapt) can detect and translate text rendered on the page. Results depend on how the app handles dynamically injected content:
- Weglot — Generally works, as it translates visible DOM text
- Langify — May require manual translation entries for Podifai elements
- Shopify Translate & Adapt — Works for theme content but may not detect app-injected text

RTL Language Support
Right-to-left languages (Arabic, Hebrew, etc.) are not yet fully supported in the customizer UI. The layout may not mirror correctly. If RTL support is critical for your store, contact us at [email protected] so we can prioritize based on demand.
