Welcome to the Podifai Quick Start Guide! This guide will walk you through the essential steps to get your first product customizer live on your Shopify store.
Step 1: Install Podifai
First, you need to install the Podifai app from the Shopify App Store.
- Go to the Podifai App Store page.
- Click the Install button.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to approve the installation.
Click the “Install” button on the Shopify App Store.
Step 2: Select a Product and Add Options
Once installed, you’ll see your Shopify products listed in Podifai.
- From the Podifai Products page, browse your product list.
- Find the product you want to customize.
- Click the Add Options button next to the product.
Click “Add Options” to open the customizer editor for that product.
You’ll be taken to the visual editor where you can build your customizer.
- Open the Options panel on the left sidebar.
- Click or drag an option type (e.g., Color Swatch, Text Input) to add it.
- Configure the option properties in the right sidebar.
- Click Save to save your customizer.

Step 4: Activate the App
Finally, activate the Podifai app embed in your Shopify theme to make your customizer visible to customers.
- After saving, click Next to proceed to the activation page.
- Follow the instructions to enable the Podifai app embed in your Shopify theme.
- Once activated, your customizer will be live on your product page.
Enable the app embed to make your customizer live on your store.
You only need to activate the app embed once. After activation, all customized products will automatically display their customizers.
