Every Podifai customizer can be displayed in Standard or Accordion (Collapsible) mode. The right choice depends on your product and how many options customers need to configure.

Standard Mode
All options are visible on the product page at the same time.
Best for:
- Products with few customization options
- Quick selections where customers benefit from seeing everything at once
- Simple use cases like “pick a color + enter text”
Trade-off: Can feel overwhelming if you have many options, especially on mobile.
Accordion Mode
Options are grouped into collapsible sections. Customers expand one section at a time to make their selection.
Best for:
- Products with 5+ options
- Step-by-step customization flows (pick metal → pick stone → enter engraving)
- Mobile shoppers who need a clean, focused experience
- Reducing perceived complexity
Trade-off: Adds an extra click to reveal each option group.
Switching Between Modes
You can switch any option between Standard and Accordion at any time:
- Open your customizer in the Podifai editor
- Click on the option you want to change
- In the right sidebar, find Display Type
- Toggle between Standard and Collapsible
- Save
You can mix modes within the same customizer. For example, keep color selection in Standard mode (visible immediately) but put advanced options like engraving in Accordion mode.
